Wayne is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and has actively kept his public practice licence up to date since 2010
Who we are
Wayne has worked as an accountant since the year 2002.
After 15 years of working for other firms, he realised he wanted to be able to offer his clients a different service to what he was currently providing.
Our Story
The business commenced as Wayne felt that his clients deserved more personalised time and face to face contact. He was particularly tired of recording every minute of his time spent on a timesheet.
He sought closer relationships with his clients, to better meet their individual needs.
Wayne realised he had the potential and credentials to give his clients what they deserved by starting his own business.
Wayne has a passion for small to medium businesses and takes great pride in getting to know his client’s businesses and the industries they are in.
He genuinely wants his clients to be successful and supports them in whatever capacity he can.
We confidently offer a range of services to our clients including financial management, auditing/reporting, cash flow analysis as well as tax and succession planning.
When I was looking to restructure my business in 2014, a friend recommended Wayne at Advance Business Advisors.
Wayne quickly understood what I was aiming to achieve and was clear and patient when explaining the ridiculousness that is our tax system. He set up my company, trust and various entities and was always there to sort out my errors, of which have been a few – I’m a designer, not a businessman.
Wayne provides creative accounting solutions and will bring sense to the table when I have laid out a platter of wild ideas. He understands the challenges encountered when running a small business and is quick to respond when matters require urgent attention.
Wayne helped me implement my accounting system, provided advice for purchasing properties and refinancing and is there when I want to discuss the implications of new business ideas.
Wayne is honest, easy to talk to and genuinely concerned about my business. Occasionally I hear mates in business talk about their accountants being slow to respond, inflexible and unimaginative. Unfortunately, I don’t have any horror stories to add to the conversation – which seems to be a good situation.
